Gift Cards cannot be used for purchases made over the phone.
If the entire balance of a Gift Card is not spent in one transaction, the remaining balance will remain available on the Gift Card for future use. The Gift Card balance will be printed on the till receipt after each use.
Blooms of Thorpe Bay may exclude specific product from purchase via Gift Card, Blooms of Thorpe Bay reserves the right to amend this list at any time.
Gift Cards cannot be used for the purchase of other gift cards or vouchers.
Blooms of Thorpe Bay Gift Cards are not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee cards, cannot be redeemed for cash or returned and cannot be sold or re-tendered. This will not affect your statutory rights.
All Gift Cards hold an expiry date, 12 months from date of activation. If inactive for 12 months any remaining balance on a Gift Card will expire and be lost.
If any product purchased with a Gift Card is subsequently exchanged for product of a lower price or a refund, any money owing will be added to a new Gift Card.
Any funds loaded to a Gift Card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some or all funds held on any Gift Card issued may not be available to be spent.
Blooms of Thorpe Bay reserve the right to decline or withdraw Gift Cards and the right to amend these terms and conditions of Gift Card at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the Gift Card, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary.
Gift Cards must be treated like cash, Blooms of Thorpe Bay cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards and they will not be replaced.
Sales of Blooms Gift Cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Blooms of Thorpe Bay LTD, 451 Woodgrange Drive, Southend, Essex, SS1 3EB.
Gift cards ordered through this site will be sent by Blooms of Thorpe Bay to the delivery address(es) stated on each individual order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services. Orders will be delivered in person or sent by either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery and will require a signature on arrival.
Gift cards will normally be dispatched within two working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but Blooms of Thorpe Bay will not be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Blooms of Thorpe Bay cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards following delivery to the recipient. gift cards will NOT be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. Blooms of Thorpe Bay is not responsible for funds on the card used without your knowledge.
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this card.
Cleared payment is required prior to the dispatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Blooms of Thorpe Bay. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation.
Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted.
Force Majeure: Blooms of Thorpe Bay cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
Breach of these conditions will entitle Blooms of Thorpe Bay to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise.
Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Trade Discount Cards
These terms and conditions govern the use of the Blooms of Thorpe Bay 'Trade Discount Card' issued by Blooms of Thorpe Bay. By applying for or using the 'Trade Discount Card', you agree to be bound by these terms.
To be eligible for the 'Trade Discount Card', you must be a customer of Blooms of Thorpe Bay and a trades person, such as a gardener or landscaper. We may, at our discretion, accept other types of trade businesses.
The 'Trade Discount Card' is for the use of the registered business only and cannot be used by friends, family, or any other third party.
We reserve the right to cancel the 'Trade Discount Card' if it’s being used or attempted to be used by someone other than the registered business.
'Trade Discount Card' cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
'Trade Discount Card' grants the registered business 20% off plants and compost only.
Blooms of Thorpe Bay have the right to withdraw the offer at any time without notice.
Fresh Flower Subscription Service
Payment must be made in full before any deliveries will take place.
For our special offer, all four deliveries must be paid for in advance.
Subscription prices start from £35 per month and vary depending on arrangement size and frequency.
We use seasonal flowers unless you request otherwise.
While we do our best to include requested blooms, specific flowers cannot be guaranteed and are subject to seasonal availability.
Our Vase Exchange Service is available for an additional £10 with your first order.
With each delivery, we’ll provide your new arrangement in a fresh vase and collect the previous one for cleaning and reuse.
If a vase is lost or broken while in your possession, a £10 replacement fee will be charged to continue the exchange service.
We currently deliver to all SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8 and SS9 postcodes. (Delivery cost may vary)
If no one is available to receive your flowers, we will leave them in a safe place if possible.
Redelivery attempts may incur an additional charge
You may skip or pause a delivery with at least 7 days’ notice before your next scheduled arrangement.
Missed deliveries without prior notice are non-refundable.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to your next scheduled delivery.
Refunds will not be issued for orders that have already been prepared or dispatched.
If your flowers arrive damaged or you're not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to make it right.
Some flowers may cause allergic reactions or be harmful to pets. Please inform us of any specific concerns or sensitivities when placing your order.
Photos used on our website and social media are for illustrative purposes only. Actual arrangements may vary depending on flower availability and seasonality.
